The 3-day tour to Halong bay is provided by LOtussia Travel on private basis. A private vehicle and a private tour guide will be arranged throughout the tour. You will spend two nights on board junks in middle of Halong bay. The choice is diverse since there is lots of boats for you to choose ranging from budget boats to luxury junks. You can either book a sharing cruise package or a chartered boat. Kayaking tours are also added on the tour. Contact your Lotussia Travel consultant for more details.

Day 1: Transfer Hanoi – Halong Bay (L,D).

At about 7:45 – 8:15am: You will be picked up by Lotussia Travel team at your hotel in Hanoi.

Leave Hanoi by road for Halong Bay. Enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Arrive in Halong and board the traditional sailing junk (An Nam Junk or similar).

Whilst cruising the exquisite waters sample the regions fresh seafood.

The boat will take you through Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Sail island. Binh Phong mountain, Man’s head island, Tortoise island.

Visit the recently discovered Surprise Grotto with its great views, and on the next island see the yawning mouth of Bo Nau Cave. Visit Luon cave with paddle boat.

Then the boat continue cruising towards Hang Trong area where it stops for overnight. Watch the sun set over the bay whilst enjoying a delicious dinner with seafood.

Day 2: Cruising Halong Bay (B,L,D).

Wake up to fresh coffee espresso famous in Vietnam “Trung Nguyen” and enjoy the sunrise and take the trip to Village Van Gia with small boat and kayaking to visit the Halong ecology Museum.

Have lunch BBQ on the boat.

In the afternoon, relax in the boat and enjoy HalongBay’s landscape or kayaking in the area of floating village Van Gia. If weather permits, enjoy a swim on the beach in “ Soi Sim” area. Dinner and overnight on board junk.

Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B,L).

Breakfast and continue visiting Halong Bay, visit the vegetations and smalls barren islands. Enjoy a swim in the emerald waters of Halong Bay. Hike up to Titop mountain to enjoy the great view of Halong bay.

At noon we return to the main harbor. Enjoy a 3-hour drive back to Hanoi. We should be back in the capital at around 16:30pm. End trip.

Vietnam Halong Bay Cruise Tour (3 days)

This is an classic junk cruise we arrange in Halong bay, Vietnam. The 3-day cruise tour can be provided with different boat options including standard budget boat, superior boat and luxury traditional-style sailing junks. Seat-in-coach transfers between Hanoi to Halong bay is proposed but private transport is available as well. Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay (L;D).

Travel from your hotel to our departure point by yourselves. Get on our shuttle bus and depart for Halong bay. The drive to Halong Bay is around 3.5 hours (stopping along the way for a toilet break and a coffee).

We arrive at the port at midday where we board the junk boat and sit down to a lovely seafood feast while cruising into the bay.

After lunch we will visit the inside of a limestone cave before finding a secluded bay to anchor for the night. There will be a chance to swim in the emerald waters before dinner. Accommodation for the night is in private timber cabin with air-con and hot showers.

Day 2: Halong Bay (B;L;D).

Awake the next morning to the lapping waters and enjoy a breakfast overlooking the bay. Either relax on the boat or explore the bay with kayaks.

In the afternoon we cruise around the bay at a leisurely pace, stopping to explore more caves. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the boat reading, sunbathing or swimming before a decadent seafood meal.

Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B).

Today we continue to cruise around the bay while the boat going back shore.

At 11:00 we will return to the main harbor before transferring to our awaiting vehicle for a 3-hour journey back to Hanoi. We should be back in the capital at around 3:00pm. End trip.

Vietnam Halong Bay Scuba Diving and Kayaking Tour (3 days)

Vietnam Halong bay is the best place for water sport holidays. The 3-day tour is customized on the sharing tour basis (seat-in-coach transfer, sharing junk) and includes both kayaking and scuba diving activities. Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay. Cruise. Kayaking (L,D).

At 8:00: get on our sharing shuttle bus & depart for Halong bay (with guide). Enjoy the journey through the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Arrive in Halong around noon and board the Bai Tho traditional sailing junk (or similar junk).

Whilst cruising the exquisite waters sample the regions fresh seafood. Round over Thien Cung cave (palace of heaven), Dau Go ( grotto of wood ), Tuan Chau island, Dog island, Dinh Huong, Ga Choi (fighting cock mountain), Turtle island. Visit Sung Sot cave and enjoy one-hour kayaking trip or have a swim at Titop beach or Soi Sim beach.

Watch the sun set over the bay whilst enjoying a delicious dinner.

Overnight on board junk.

Day 2: Halong Bay Scuba Diving (B,L,D).

Breakfast on board junk.

At 9h00, will will be picked up at the boat-house by our Diving Team and transferred by another wooden boat to our first divesite – Chim Island. Enjoy 01 dive before having lunch on board.

In the afternoon, we will move to another divesite – Me Cung Island. There we will enjoy one more hour diving before being dropped off back at boat-house for overnight.

Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B).

Breakfast on board. Then we continue our cruise while the boat is going back to shore. Arrive at Ha long wharf about 11h00 and join our vehicle again for journey back to Hanoi (sharing shuttle bus; with guide).

Arrive in Hanoi about 15:00. You will be dropped off at the place where we picked you you on day 1. Transfer from this place to your hotel will be arranged by yourself. End.

The traditional side of the boat doesn’t preclude high quality. The meals are especially meticulous and appreciate. It’s a time of conviviality between the passengers and the crew. The cabin is a wardroom and the crew converts the seats into a large berth where it’s possible for 4 or 5 people to sleep.

If the weather is good, you can also sleep out in the open, on the deck or the roof. Mattress, sleeping bags, blankets are at your disposal.
